Srinagar March 17 (KNS): DDC Council Shopian led by the DDC Chairperson and Vice chairman chaired a meeting with Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari at his Party Head Office Sheikh Bagh Srinagar
During the meeting various issues pertaining to the progression of local masses were raised by the DDC members. Issues involving lack of infrastructure, water supply and other development welfare measures were taken up.
"Times have been really unprecedented so far and local masses have been suffering since years altogether, I want all the party workers to work on ground, take account of public grievances and try their best to mitigate their sufferings. He also advised the members to make sure that they reach out to the people living in far -flung areas and address their grievances with the involvement of local administration," he said.

The meeting was attended by Apni Party Vice President Zafar Iqbal Manhas, DDC Chairperson Bilquis Jan, DDC Vice Chairman Irfan Manhas, DDC member Choudhary Fazal, DDC member Tahir Ahmad Mir, DDC member Abdul Rashid Lone, , DDC member Yasmeen Jan and DDC member Nageena Qayoom .
In a statement released to the press, Bukhari said that the District Development Council meeting with members from Shopian was sort out to discuss various issues pertaining to the basic facilities including lack of infrastructure, educational institutions, Health institutions, basic amenities and other welfare measures," he said.(KNS)
