Srinagar, Apr 19 (KNS): DDC Baramulla, Safina Baig on Wednesday congratulated Chief Executive Officer, Mission Youth J&K and DC Baramulla Dr. Sehrish Asgar for bagging prestigious award for excellence in public administration.
This is the highest award in the country in civil services that Executive Officer, Mission Youth J&K Dr. Shahid Iqbal Chowdhary and Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Dr. Sehrish Asgar have been selected for the coveted award.
DDC Baramulla at the occasion congratulated both IAS officers for their valuable efforts in public administration. “I congratulate Dr. Shahid Iqbal Chowdhary who had been Deputy Commissioners of Bandipora and Srinagar, for being selected for the award”, she said.
Besides I congratulate DC Baramulla, Dr. Sehrish Asgar for her tremendous efforts in bringing the district to the limelight. With her accredited work the district Baramulla has received 19 crore award money in recent past which was spent in agriculture, health, education and other fields, Safina Baig said.
Baig also congratulated the former Deputy Commissioner of Baramulla Bhupinder Kumar, IAS for his work that brought the district on the map of success.
DDC Baramulla further appealed to all government officers and subordinate staff of the district to work in a coordinated manner so that district will achieve more laurels in future. (KNS)
