Kupwara, Dec 31(KNS): Deputy Commissioner Kupwara Dr Doifode Sagar Dattatray on Saturday warned employees of strict action for dereliction of duties and absenteeism.
Talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS), he said unauthorised absenteeism is being monitored very closely and strict action is being taken who are found absent from their duties.
"In the past few days several inspections were carried out by the administration during which 30 employees were found absent and legal action was taken against them," he said.
He said such actions will also be carried out in future as well to curb absenteeism by the employees.
Meanwhile, Dr Sagar also extended greetings to the people of Kupwara and the employees on the eve of New Year.
“I wish people good health, and pray the new year brings happiness in everyones lives,” he said. (KNS)
