DC Kupwara reviews pace of power projects under various schemes

KUPWARA, AUGUST 20:(KNS)  The Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Imam Din today urged the people of Kupwara district to not lower the guard against the COVID as the threat of the pandemic is not over yet. 

          The DC was addressing a presser in his office chamber, here today.

          Giving details, the DC said that 100 percent people above 45 years of age have already been vaccinated in the district. He said 41.84 percent of the 18 to 44 year age group have been vaccinated till date, adding that the positivity rate stands at 0.37 percent while recovery rate stands at 98.6 percent.

          The DC reiterated his appeal to the people of the district to continuously follow the COVID appropriate behaviour and other SOPs. He appealed to people below 45 year age to come forward and administer COVID vaccine at nearby vaccination centres which is provided free of cost.
