DC Bandipora visits Yatra transit camp Sumbal, reviews yatra arrangements

Bandipora 7 April (KNS): Deputy Commissioner bandipora Dr Owais Ahmad today visited Saidipora yatra transit camp with concerned officers to review the status of arrangements made for the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2021.

 

According to kashmir news service (KNS) correspondent ,The DC directed for maintenance of proper sanitation and cleanliness , proper drinking water at yatra transit sadipora Sumbal Stations .

 

To improve the drinking water facilities, jal shakti was directed to make water available ,with sufficient tankers ,he urged R& B department to complete the construction of prefabricated huts at the earliest .

 

The Dc directed Health department that Medical facilities at Sumbal base Camp will remain available 24×7, including doctors, paramedics & essential medicines. The CMO was directed to ensure sufficient number of Oxygen Cylinders, X-Ray & ECGs facilities available at base Camp and other stations, besides all medical teams must reach to their stations and food department was directed to ensure all nessassary essentially comodities available during these days .

 

The DC directed Dy. Director Fire & Emergency Services bandipora to impart orientation training regarding fire fighting and other safety measures to Langarwalas & other service providers.

 

It was given out that Joint Control Room & Emergency Operation Centres shall be made operational one week before the commencement of the Yatra.

 

The DC urged the officers to work with zeal and in complete coordination to ensure smooth conduct of the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2021.

 

Meanwhile Dr.Owais also visited Hajin area of bandipora to take the first hand appraisal and interacted with the public at various places and heard their grievances beside passing on sport directions for its redressel .He also visited CHC hospital and Degree college Hajin .(KNS)
