As per the order the copy of which lies here at Kashmir News Service, it reads as " In order to inquire into the alleged assault on a journalist namely Inam-ul-Haq by the doctors in the office of Block Medical officer Bandipora, Additional District Development Commissioner, Bandipora is nominated as inquiry officer to conduct a thorough inquiry.

 

The inquiry officer shall submit his report within a period of week's time, it reads

 

 Notably, reports reaching Kashmir News Service (KNS), Inam was verbally assaulted by doctor while covering pulse polio drive at Pazalpora hospital in response to a news story carried out by the journalist two months ago in the interest of public.(KNS)
