16500 candidates to appear at 55 centres in the district

Anantnag, Nov 11 (KNS): Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Syed Abid Rasheed Shah today reviewed the arrangements put in place for smooth conduct of class 10th and 12th board examination.
The meeting was attended by SSP Anantnag, SDM Dooru, SDM Pahalgam, SDM Kokernag, ASP Anantnag and Kulgam, Dy. Chief Education Officer, ARTO, Tehsildars and officers of Board of School Education.
Dy. CEO and BOSE officers apprised the DC that the examination material has already been dispatched to the concerned police stations and admit cards have also been distributed among the candidates.
The ARTO has been directed to devise a transport plan for the movement of staff and shifting of examination material.
Regarding security arrangements, SSP Anantnag said that elaborate security arrangements have been put in place around the examination centres.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHe said that deployment order has been issued whereby police parties shall accompany concerned superintendents for distribution and collection of exam related material both before and after the examination from these centres.
A Control Room will also be established at PCR Anantnag and officials from Police, Education Department, BOSE and Civil administration will oversee the conduct of examination process across the district.
Simultaneously, the concerned SDMs have been appointed as nodal officers in their respective jurisdictions whereas ACR has been tasked with the same for Anantnag and Bijbehara areas. (KNS)
