Pulwama February 19:(KNS) Pulwama Police along with civil administration on Saturday felicitated the students of District Pulwama who have secured top positions in recently announced results of Higher Secondary part two (12th Regular) & Part ist (10th Regular) examinations.
According to a statement issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS) DC Pulwama Baseer-ul-Haq Choudary was the chief guest of the felicitation event and was also attended by SSP Pulwama GH Jeelani Wani-JKPS and other senior officers of Pulwama Police. As a mark of appreciation, DC Pulwama Shri Baseer-Ul-Haq Choudary along with SSP Pulwama Shri Gh Jeelani Wani-JKPS felicitated following Eighteen Meritorious students of Class 12th & Class 10th with Cash Rewards and Appreciation letters.
The students who secured top positions include, Mehvish Altaf D/O Altaf Ahmad R/O Sonachakoo secured 500 out of 500. Sohana Altaf D/o Altaf Hussain Mir R/o New Colony Pulwama secured 497 out of 500, Basit-bin-Mansoor S/o Manzoor Ah. Bhat R/O Nehama Kakapora secured 496 out of 500, Qazi Toiba Uroos D/O Qazi Zakir Hussain R/O Rajpora secured 496 out of 500, Salim Bashir S/o Bashir Ahmad R/O Trichal Pulwama secured 496 out of 500, Jibran Javaid S/O Javiad Ahmad Falay R/O Kalampora Rajpora secured 492 out of 500, Mir Mohammad Adil S/O Driver Fayaz Ahmad Aziz R/O Ratnipora secured 492 out of 500, Faisal Bashir S/O Bashir Ah wani R/O Mohanviji kakapora secured 491 out of 500, Abdul Muqeed S/O Mukhtar Ahmad Sheikh R/O Lajoora Pulwama Secured 489 out of 500, Pakeeza Altaf D/O Altaf Hussain Dar R/O Arihal Pulwama secured 488 out of 500, Munaza Shafi D/O Mohd Shafi R/O Bandzoo Pulwama secured 488 out of 500, Iqra Jan D/O Feroz Ahmad Malik R/O Wasoora secured 486 out of 500, Eshan Irshad S/O Irshad Hussain Mogray R/O Bellow secured 486 out of 500 and Seidra Mukhtar D/O Mukhtar Ahmad R/O Arihal secured 478 out of 500 of 12th class.
Students from 10th class include, Suhail Ahmad Dar S/O Gh mohd Dar R/O Chanapora Puwlama secured 496 out of 500, Laieba Ashraf D/O Mohd Ashraf Rather R/O Newa Pulwama secured 491 out of 500, Aneeka Sehraan R/O Pathan Pulwama secured 491 out of 500, Zeeshan Manzoor S/O Manzoor Ahmad Mantoo R/O Litter Aglar secured 481 out of 500.
On the occasion, while interacting with the meritorious students DC Pulwama & SSP Pulwama congratulated them for their brilliant performance which resulted in their remarkable success and also hoped that they would inspire other students to excel in their studies and academics in future. Moreover, the role of the teachers, parents and guardians in their achievement was also appreciated.
