Srinagar, July 23(KNS): The body of a minor boy who was drowned in nallah Qazinaag in Chayari Chitterkote area of border town Karnah north Kashmir's Kupwara district here remained untraceable for the third consecutive day on Friday. 

An official told Kashmir News Service (KNS), that the minor boy identified as Syed Jigar son of Shabir Hussain of Cheyari Chitterkote area of Karnah was drowned in a Nallah while crossing it three days ago. 

He said that the rescue teams of the Army, police, SDRF and local volunteers are searching for the missing minor boy who drowned in Nallah Qazinaag. 

He said It is feared that the body may have flown to Pakistani administrative Kashmir Because the drowning of a minor occurred just three kilometres away from the LoC.

The police official said that the boy may have reached Neelam valley Pakistan occupied Kashmir with the flow of the water

The official said that a special hotline contact was established on Thursday morning from this side to inform the drowning of minor to POK official and in case of finding the body, they were asked to return it via Teetwal crossing point the official added.(KNS).
