JAMMU, DEC 21 (KNS): Dr Sirwal Jahanzaib, Spokesperson Jammu and Kashmir Congress has asserted that Bharatiya Janata Party Govt at the Centre as well as the J&K Union Territory Administration stand totally exposed on the claims of huge investments worth thousands of crores of rupees in Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory during the last five years.
In a statement issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), today, the Spokesperson ridiculed the Government claiming that the aforesaid data regarding the investments in J&K presented in the ongoing session of the Parliament is quite contrary to the claims of Govt regarding huge investments worth thousands of crores of rupees in J&K during the last five years.
Dr Jahanzaib said that the data presented in the Parliament reveals that the investments made during the past years have in fact gone down unabated. He lamented that the height of the mess is that the Lt Governor of J&K, Manoj Sinha comes to the rescue of the Union Govt by terming the variation of figures as a typing error/mistake. He said that the Lt Governor instead of trying to be Godfather of the Union Govt on J&K matters should not cross the contours and must behave just as an administrator of J&K Union Territory, a highly sensitive region of the nation.
The Congress Spokesperson said that the aforesaid development has proved beyond doubt that the incumbent Union Govt is a Jumla Govt and the Jumlas that earlier used to be only oral are now coming up even in writing that too in the highest temple of democracy for which the people will teach a lesson to the BJP through ballot when the occasion arises.(KNS)
