Srinagar, Nov 30 (KNS): Democratic Azad Party led by Ghulam Nabi Azad on Wednesday held an introductory meeting at Townhall Kunzer and nominated Amood Gulzar as Constituency Incharge for Gulmarg.
The introductory meeting was presided over by senior leader and former Minister Taj Mohiuddin and was attended by over hundreds of youths to take up this challenge to flourish the Gulmarg Constituency under the leadership of Ghulam Nabi Azad.
Many prominent faces from Gulmarg Constituency on the occasion joined Democratic Azad Party infront of Taj Mohiuddin.
Speaking to reporters, Taj Mohi-ud-Din said our party's stand is clear. "We want statehood to be restored before the assembly elections are held in J&K. We want only the people of J&K to have the ownership rights of J&K's land. We want that only the youth of J&K shall be eligible for the government jobs of J&K", he said. He urged "misguided" youth to return into mainstream party as this issue can be solved only through dialogue.
Amood Gulzar during his speech said every person is important whether he/she is voter or not. "I am here for the people as true leader to understand their problems", he said. (KNS)
