DAK condoles demise of noted endocrinologist Dr Manzoor Bhat

Srinagar, Sep 04:(KNS)  Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) today held a condolence meeting at Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar to mourn the sad demise of noted endocrinologist Dr Manzoor Ahmad Bhat who breathed his last on Thursday morning at his Rawalpora residence. He was 42.

Paying rich tributes to the deceased, DAK members prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and expressed heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family.

Saddened over the death, President DAK Dr Nisar ul Hassan said it is a great loss to the medical fraternity and his death has resulted in a great void in the field of medicine.

A medical luminary, Dr Manzoor graduated from ASCCOMS Jammu and after completing his DM Endocrinology at SKIMS was working as a consultant at JLNM hospital Rainawari Srinagar. 

He was a compassionate and empathetic doctor and had attained great respect from his patients,” Dr Nisar said.

“His contributions in the field of medicine will be remembered for a long time,” he said.

“Born in Dadoora Pulwama, Dr Manzoor was a man of impeccable integrity,” said General Secretary DAK Dr Arshad Ali.

Terming the deceased as a noble soul, Dr Arshad said he always stood a helping hand to the needy and poor.

“He will be sorely remembered by everyone whose lives he touched,” he said.(KNS)
