Srinagar, Jun 01 (KNS): Child Welfare Committee and Juvenile Justice Board (Bench of 1st Class Judicial Magistrate) Anantnag has rescued two minor boys Murshid and Mohd Towheed from captivity of one Gh Moh-ud –din Shah S/O Amma Shah R/O Patel  Bagh Pampore.
The boys were held captive and were put into forced labour by him. The boys have been rescued and restored to their family by CWC/JJB Anantnag after completing due formalities in this regard.
The committee /Board has directed concerned police station to lodge an FIR against culprit who had kidnapped the boys and held them captive.
Responding to the distress calls of the members of the family of two minor boys hailing from Bihar presently at Kuller child line Anantnag flung into action and after hectic effort recovered the boys from the cavity of the accused from pampore.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelBoth the victims were produced before the CWC/JJB Anantnag by childline Bijbihara Anantnag, CWC/JJB took the cognizance of the matter and proceeded in accordance with the JJ Act 2013.
The family of the victims has expressed their gratitude to CWC/JJB Anantnag and Child line Anantnag and the local police for timely action in the matter, CWC/JJB has lauded the response of the local police in this regard. (KNS)
