Srinagar, Jul 02 (KNS): Curfew-like restrictions continued in Srinagar for the third day today as precautionary measure to prevent any demonstration.
Meanwhile, authorities have extended the restrictions to areas falling under police station Kralkhud in the old city and Maisuma in the civil lines today, when separatists have called for a strike against the killing of two civilians in Anantnag yesterday.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Following the strike call, the District Magistrate (DM), Srinagar Dr Farooq Ahmad Lone said restrictions under Section 144 of CrPC could continue in area under the jurisdictions of Police Stations Nowhatta, M R Gunj, Rainawari, Khanyar and Safakadal as a precautionary measure to avoid any untoward incident.
