Srinagar, Jul 15 (KNS): The state administration on Friday imposed curfew in most parts of the Valley while the rest of the Valley is observing complete shutdown to mourn the death of civilians who were killed during the ongoing cycle of violence in Kashmir.
The authorities had imposed strict curfew in most parts of the Valley to thwart any possible protests against the civilian killing.
Witnesses said that police and paramilitary forces have been deployed in strength in sensitive areas across the Valley to thwart any protests.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Pertinently, separatists had appealed Imams to offer funeral in absentia for the youth who wer killed from past six days and had also appealed people to stage protests after Friday congregation prayers today.
Meanwhile, internet service and cellular services were also snapped on Thursday evening. However, state run BSNL service and broadband were working at a very low speed.
Pertinently, the Valley has been witnessing continuous shutdown and curfew for the past one week. (KNS)
