Srinagar, Aug 01 (KNS): Authorities continue to impose curfew in three Southern districts and restrictions in parts of Srinagar and others on 24th consecutive day to thwart any possible protests against the civilian killings in Kashmir.
A top police official told KNS that the curfew continued in Anantnag, Kulgam and Pulwama while the restrictions were imposed in Anantnag town, parts of Srinagar, and others.
Witnesses told KNS that huge contingent of police and paramilitary CRPF troopers have been deployed on roads to thwart any possible protests against the civilian killings in Kashmir.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Meanwhile, reports quoting officials said that one civilian was wounded after forces opened fire on protesters in Qazigund area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
“One person identified as Mushtaq Ahmad Shah sustained bullet injuries and has been shifted to SKIMS hospital for treatment,” reports quoting official said, adding that three CRPF personnel were also injured during the clashes in Levdoora village of Qazigund area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
