Srinagar, Jan 30 (KNS) : The CT scan machine at the Super Speciality Hospital in Sheeren Bagh here is fully functional and conducting routine diagnostic procedures, hospital authorities clarified on Friday.
Hospital administration in a statement issued to news agency Kashmir News Service (KNS) that only a peripheral injector unit attached to the main CT system has developed a technical snag.
"This minor issue affects less than two per cent of the daily diagnostic workload, specifically angiography procedures. All other contrast and non-contrast CT scans are being performed without any disruption," a hospital official said in a statement.

The fault has been reported to the concerned technical agency, TBS, and repairs are underway for early restoration, the statement said.
The hospital management emphasised that patient care remains unaffected and all essential diagnostic services are being provided smoothly.
The core machine is operational, the official statement said.
The hospital administration reiterated its commitment to maintaining seamless healthcare services and assured that any technical glitches are addressed promptly to ensure uninterrupted facilities the statement further reads. (KNS)
