Appeal CM to take compassionate view, release all trade union leaders

Srinagar, Sep 01 (KNS): Civil Secretariat Coordination Committee Thursday held a meeting under the chairmanship of Ghulam Rasool Mir, here at Civil Secretariat.
President, Lower Grade Employees Union, Maqbool Hussain, besides various representatives of Employees Union also participated in the meeting.
In a statement issued to KNS, expressing concern over hardships, employees face on daily basis while reaching and attending to their duties in the Civil Secretariat and other offices, in the prevailing circumstances, the Coordination Committee appealed the Chief Minister to look into the overall circumstances on ground and take compassionate view in the matter.
The Coordination Committee appealed the Chief Minister that all employees leaders should be released to avoid further confrontation and employees should not be forced to attend to their duties when prevailing situation does not ensure safe movement of people.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelIt also appealed the Chief Minister that salaries of employees be released especially in view of the ensuing Eid-ul-Zuha.
The Coordination Committee also urged the Chief Minister to instruct the concerned departments to extend accommodation facilitates to employees besides adequate ration and security arrangements be made for the Darbar move employees in residential quarters and hotels. (KNS)
