Srinagar, Sep 23 (KNS): Chief Secretary BR Sharma Wednesday convened a meeting of senior police and civil administration to take stock of present situation arising out of latest developments in the state. Besides others, the meeting was attended by Director General of Police K. Rajendra and Home Secretary Raj Kumar Goyal.
Sources told KNS that the Chief Secretary got first hand brief from DGP and Home Secretary about the prevailing law and order situation in state.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelThe meeting, as per sources, also discussed the arrangements put in place for the smooth celebrations of Eid-ul-Azha. The DGP and Home Secretary, as per sources, have said that adequate measures have been taken to ensure that no law and order problem arises on Eid.
