Srinagar, Mar 3 (KNS): With its noble vision and earnest endeavour to promote Sports among youths of Kashmir, 3rd BN CRPF Thursday under supervision of Rajesh Vatsa, Commandant 03rd BN CRPF, handed over a newly constructed Basketball Court and Accessories to Higher Secondary School, Kaloosa, Bandipore under Civic Action Programme (CAP) 2015-16.
The event was presided over by RK Yadav, DIG CRPF, Baramulla range.
Voicing his opinion on the occasion, Yadav said- “We are constantly endeavouring towards improving Sports facilities in Kashmir through our Civic Action Programs, so that activities of sports can be promoted among youths. This will certainly provide them firsthand opportunity to nurture their sports potential.”
He also said- “Earlier also we had conducted “Bharat Darshan” tour for 25 children of this district.
“We, as Peacekeepers are always committed to develop strong bond of brotherhood with the people of Kashmir, particularly with youths and will continue to endeavour for their better future in whatever way we can,” he said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The inauguration ceremony was also attended by Sajjad DC Barmula, Shabbir superintendent of Police Bandipora, Muhammad Yusuf Additional S.P. Bandipora, Commandants and officers of CRPF Baramulla Range.
Principal and School Administration of Higher Secondary School, Kaloosa also praised the efforts of 03rd BN CRPF for providing Basket ball court to their institution. They said- “This will certainly encourage the students of the school to think over taking sports as one of the career option.
CRPF is always persistent is maintaining close bond of brotherhood with the people of Kashmir, and will continue to pursue same spirit in the coming future. (KNS)
