‘Donates computers to 6 Govt Schools’

Srinagar, Jan 18 (KNS): In its earnest endeavour to promote Computer Education in Kashmir as a part of Civic Action Program, 118 BN CRPF stationed at Gund, Srinagar Monday donated Computers and other peripheral devices to Six Government run Schools of rural areas of Kashmir.
The recipient schools included government Middle School Kullan, Government, Middle School Hariganiwan, Government Boys High School Cheriwan, Government High School Wussan, Government Middle School Ramwari (Kullan), Government Girls Middle School Gund.
The event was presided over by Premjit Singh, Commandant 118 BN CRPF in the presence of School Staff and Principals of these schools.
While addressing the locals and Media on the occasion, Premjit Singh, Commandant 118 BN CRPF said, “Through civic action programs, CRPF is constantly endeavouring to promote computer literacy among students of Kashmir Valley to nurture their technical skills.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelThis will certainly help them to come at par with mainstream students of other high standard educational institutions.
He also said, “It is pertinent to mention here that CRPF is always committed to develop strong bond of brotherhood with the people of Kashmir, particularly with youths and will always serve for their better future in whatever way it can. Because youths are the future of this state, we must contribute for their bright and successful career in whatever way we can.”
The noble gesture of 118 BN CRPF was appreciated by locals, teachers and staff members of schools who gratefully lauded the Civic Action Program of CRPF in such rural area. (KNS)
