Donates computers for blind, deaf and mute students

Srinagar, Mar 25 (KNS): We as human beings think in terms of words and images in our cerebrums, but what if you've never heard any sound and have never been able to see the world. This is the plight of “Differently Abled” people having been the sufferer of Blindness, Deafness, Muteness and are cursed with a life carrying absolute silence of despair. This time CRPF has come forward to assist such Institutions where these “Differently abled” people are looked after.
With the sole aim to promote Computer literacy among such students of Kashmir, 73 BN CRPF today donated Computers, Peripheral Devices, Furniture and other Infrastructural equipments to Modern High School, Solina, Srinagar as a part of Civic Action Program. School is run by “The Society for Human Welfare and Education, for Blind, dumb and deaf children.” The event was organized under overall supervision of P.P Pauly, Commandant 73 BN C.R.P.F and was presided over by Sanjeev Dhundia, DIG CRPF Srinagar (North). Other Senior Officers from J&K Police, C.R.P. F and Media persons also graced the occasion with their presence.
While addressing students on global significance of Information Technology and Computer Science for all students, Dhundia said, “Through civic action programs, CRPF is constantly working hard towards promoting the standard of computer literacy among Kashmiri students.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Particularly this time, for a noble cause and to promote such institutes where “Differently Abled” students are being taught, this infrastructural support will help School Administration nurture the hidden talent of these students in the fields of Information Technology and Computer Science.
Voicing his opinion on Police-Public relations he said - “C.R.P.F is constantly trying to develop strong bond of brotherhood with the people of Kashmir, particularly with youths and will always serve for their better future in whatever way it can.”
The noble gesture of 73 BN C.R.P.F was gratefully lauded by School Administration. In closing stage, Principal, Modern High School, Solina, Srinagar proposed vote of thanks to Sanjeev Dhundia, DIG C.R.P.F Srinagar (North) & P.P Pauly Commandant 73 BN CRPF for this auspicious privilege and expressed her gratitude for this noble act of CRPF.
