‘The tour was an educational excursion’

Srinagar, Mar 7 (KNS):163 BN C.R.P.F today organized the Flag-in ceremony for the students of Government Boys School at Walnut Factory, Qazigund who were sent on the said campaign on 2nd of this month.
The tour was an educational excursion to places like Amritsar, Chandigarh and Delhi for the students of Kashmir to acquaint them with the Cultural Heritage and Glorious History of India under “Know your Nation” Campaign.
The group of these 25 students along with Chief Coordinator Ashvni Kumar Singh, Asst. Commandant visited landmark places like Golden Temple, Rock Garden, Sukna Lake of Chandigarh etc. and returned back to Srinagar via Delhi through CRPF sponsored Air Travel. Entire Campaign was organized under overall supervision of K.K. Chand, Commandant 163 BN CRPF. The Flag-In Ceremony was presided over by Dr. Abid, Distt. Collector, Kulgam. Other Dignitaries who graced the occasion by their presence included Mumtaz, Senior Superintendent Of Police, Kulgam, Colonel Akhil, Commanding Officer of 9 Rashtriya Rifles.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
While addressing parents, guardians, CRPF, Police and Army Officers on the occasion, K.K. Chand said, “I’m pretty sure of this fact, that this tour will serve as an experiential learning for these young Kashmiri students and it will substantially contribute to their intellect, understanding and paradigm of knowledge about Indian Values.”
“We are wholeheartedly committed to develop strong bond of brotherhood with the people of Kashmir and will continue to organize more such tours for aspiring Kashmiri youths.”
In the end, Principal, Staff members, Parents and Guardians of students and School Administration gratefully lauded endeavours of CRPF for taking this noble initiative. (KNS)?
