Srinagar, Mar 31 (KNS): With our noble vision and earnest endeavour to promote Sports, Computer literacy and Infrastructural development in schools of Kashmir, three Battalions of CRPF Thursday donated computers, peripheral devices, furniture and other infrastructural equipments to various schools of Srinagar. 73 BN and 35 BN CRPF donated computers, peripheral devices and furniture to Government High School, Garipora, Bemina and Govt. Girls Secondary School, Humahama, Budgam respectively, to support school administrations towards development of a modern computer for their students.
The events were presided over by P P Pauly, Commandant 73 BN CRPF and Arvind Rai, Commandant 35 BN CRPF in both the schools respectively. Other officers from CRPF and J&K Police were also present on the occasion.
In another Civic Action Programme, newly constructed Badminton Court and Toilet Block (Sanitation Facilities) were handed over to Govt. Boys High School Chhatabal Srinagar by 49 BN CRPF.
The event was presided over by Sanjeev Dhundia, DIG C.R.P.F Srinagar (North)and was organized under overall supervision of Vikas Choudhary, Second-in-Command, 49 BN CRPF.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelPukhraj Jaipal, DIG GC CRPF Srinagar, other senior officers from CRPF, J&K Police, school staff and Media persons also graced the occasion with their presence.
By providing such kind of Infrastructural support to schools through civic action programmes, CRPF is constantly trying to promote the standard of computer literacy among Kashmiri students. Besides, CRPF is also constructing Badminton & Basketball Courts, Sanitation facilities and other related infrastructure for these schools. Being one of the most trustworthy organizations of the Govt. of India, CRPF consider it as a social responsibility and we’ll constantly observe such social welfare measures for all Kashmiri brothers and sisters, especially for youths.
The noble gestures of CRPF are always appreciated by Teaching Staff and Administration of these schools for such auspicious privilege and noble practice of CRPF. In future as well, CRPF shall continue to execute such programmes on regular basis. (KNS)
