Srinagar, Mar 14 (KNS): The hope of a better school building has turned to reality for more than 70 students of Govt. Girls Middle School, Tulsibagh Srinagar with accomplishing renovation of the school building and installation of a Computer Lab in one of the needy schools of the city.
S. K. Singh, Commandant 25 BN, CRPF, handed over the renovated school building with a new appearance flooring, ceiling, toilets, electrification, lights.
A computer lab was also donated to the school for the use of under privileged students of the school. Books and stationaries were also distributed to all the students. Kishore Kumar, Second-in-Command and other officers and men of the unit also graced the occasion with their presence.
S. K. Singh, Commandant 25 BN, CRPF in his inaugural address on the occasion expressed- “Students are the future of this country and our contribution towards crafting their future is an investment for our country. By directly providing such kind of Infrastructural support to Schools of Kashmir through our civic action programs, we are constantly trying our best to promote the standard of computer literacy among Kashmiri students” S.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelK. Singh emphasized on the importance of Civic Action Programs of CRPF for the needy people and also intimated that more such programs like medical camps, renovations/construction works and other development activities will be organized in the near future by the CRPF, so that maximum benefit/support can be provided to the local people in different fields through different schemes.
Fatima Banu, Head Mistress, Govt. Girls Middle School, Tulsibagh proposed special vote of thanks to the Commandant 25 BN for taking this noble initiative and opined that the scheme will be a big morale booster for the future of their students.
CRPF is persistently trying to develop strong bond of brotherhood with the people of Kashmir. Duty of CRPF is not only to restore the Law & Order situation and maintain Internal Security of the nation, but also observing social welfare measures for all our innocent Kashmiri brothers and sisters.
