Covid-19: Kashmir’s second victim laid to rest at Tangmarg village

Srinagar, Mar 29 (KNS): A man who died of corona virus outbreak was on Sunday laid to rest in his native village and only five people attend the last rites of the deceased in Sulanda Village of Tangmarg in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district .

Witnesses told KNS that that only five people, all close relatives of the deceased, attended his funeral prayers after wearing a protective equipment, who also accompanied the body to the graveyard for burial.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

As per the guidelines laid by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), no bathing, kissing and hugging of deceased Covid-19 patient is allowed and same was followed in this case also.

In Tangmarg sub division huge deployed of security forces and police sealed all the roads and waysside for Solinda Tangmarg tightened restrictions on Tangmarg there is no movement were shown in the area.

Authorities appealed to general public stay home stay safe. (KNS)
