COVID-19: 20 bed hospital established at Tral

Srinagar, April 10 (KNS):A 20 Bed COVID-19 Hospital is all set for any emergency which may arise within Tral Sub-District related to Corona Virus Pandemic.

NTPHC Bathnoor, a newly contructed building under the foothills of picturesque Bugmud Forest Compartment, which was recently handed over to the Health Department by the construction agency R&B, is some 7 kilometers from Tral headquarter. The Primary Health Centre comprises of 25 rooms and has a capcity of adding more beds if needed. In the first instance, 20 beds have been kept ready for COVID-19 inpatients.

The Hospital is well equipped with the basic minimum medical and other facilities which are needed primarily at such COVID Hospitals.

ADC Tral S.A.Raina (KAS) and BMO Tral Mr. Bashir Ahmad had been instrumntal in gearing up the pending work and extra facilities at the Hospital. Today, late in the afternoon, the duo made a visit to the NTPHC and had a final look at the arrangemnts made.

A road connecting to the Hospital has been upgraded just a few days back by the R&B Department besides, securing the premises by wire fencing.

ADC Tral applauded the timely efforts of BMO Tral, R&B, PDD, PHE and other agencies who have been contributory in establishing the said Hospital.(KNS)
