Srinagar, Mar 09 (KNS): A court on Thursday quashed the detention of seven detainees including Chief organizer of Muslim League and other leaders under Public Safety Act (PSA) and directed police to release them.
According to Legal Secretary, Muslim league, Shah Riyaz the state High court has quashed PSA of seven detainees including Chief organizer ML, Ab Ahad Parra, Mohammad Abbass Bhat, Mudassir Ahmad Magray, Sameer Ahmad Dar, Nisar Ahmad Parray, Farooq Ahmad Wagay and Zubair Ahmad Tantray.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Riyaz told KNS that the petitions filed by Advocate Mian Qayoom and Advocate Naasir Qadri were heard by Justice A M Magray, Justice Ramalingum, Justice M Yaqoob Mir and Justice Taushi in separate sittings in high court.
“The PSA slapped against the seven detainees was quashed with the order to release them from jails,” he said. (KNS)
