Srinagar, Nov 21 (KNS): A Court on Monday quashed the detention of senior Hurriyat leader and Ex-secretary Hurriyat, Ghulam Muhammad Hubbi under Public Safety Act and directed police to release him.
According to G M Hubbi’s son, Advocate Javaid Ahmad Hubbi, Police had arrested his father on August 24 this year and thereafter was booked under PSA on August 30 this year.
He had been booked by Charar-e-Shareef Police. Detention order under number DMB/PSA/10 was passed on 30-08-2016.
Advocate Javaid Ahmad Hubbi who was pleading the case of his father, G M Hubbi said that Justice Muzaffar Hussain Attar quashed his detention under PSA today and directed police to release him forthwith from preventive custody.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel(KNS)
