Srinagar, Feb 16 (KNS): Salamabad Chakoti Trade Union Chairman, Aasif Lone on Tuesday alleged that the corruption in the trade facilitation centre at Salamabad in Uri is on peak and said that the matter should be looked into seriously.
Lone told KNS that corruption in the facilitation centre is on peak. “If the matter will be ignored then it can prove dangerous to everybody,” he said.
He alleged that the officials are openly violating the issued roster and they allow vehicles to pass on their own will. “Almost 350 recognized firms are linked with the trade here but there are also unrecognized firms who are being allowed to pass illegally,” he said, adding that the authorities don’t bother to look into the issue.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Lone said that the officials are targeting the minority section here as a person, Ravindra Singh having recognized firm is not being allowed to pursue his trade. “The authorities should ignore the deplorable behavior and should follow the roster issued by them,” he said.
An official of Salamabad trade facilitation centre, Mustafa Andrabi called Lone as “blackmailer” and told KNS that the allegations against them are baseless. “Somebody is trying to mislead you,” he said and dropped the phone. (KNS)
