Srinagar, Dec 16 (KNS):  Prominent political functionaries from Srinagar on Thursday joined the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Conference (JKPC) in presence of party president Sajad Gani Lone and other senior PC leaders. 

According to the PC spokesperson, Corporator Mehjoor Nagar Saleem Bhat and prominent political worker from Sonawar Shabir Ahmed Sofi along with hundreds of workers joined the Peoples Conference at the party headquarters here. 

Welcoming the new entrants into the fold, party patriarch Sajad Gani Lone expressed hope that their entry will prove beneficial for the party's overall growth in Srinagar. He said that PC is determined to make young voices heard and take the movement for the empowerment of the masses to its logical conclusion. 

PC leaders Mohammad Abbas Wani, YPC President Sheikh Imran and YPC GS Mudasir Karim were also present on the occasion. (KNS)
