Anantnag, May 1 (KNS): A police personnel was injured today in a militant attack on a Naka party near Lazibal area of Anantnag district. 

A police official confirmed to KNS, that during evening hours today a Police party was getting closed for the shift to be replaced by another party for Covid Lockdown duty near Lazibal  Anantnag, and in the meanwhile, militants appeared
and opened fire on police party with a pistol.

"In the attack, one Policeman identified as Ghulam Mohammad received minor injuries. The fire was retaliated and area has been sealed & searches launched to nab the attackers," he told KNS.
