Srinagar, Oct 22 (KNS): Bandipora Police on Sunday said Over half dozen Braid Chopping Incidents have been reported in Bandipora district of North Kashmir since past couple of weeks.
While addressing media persons here in Bandipora; SSP Bandipora Sheikh Zulfikar Azad said that on Sunday that over Half dozen Braid chopping have reported so far in Bandipora district. Azad said till now not a single victim has approached with us since this wave have been started.
SSP Azad said we are facing problem in investigating the cases, we are not getting support neither from the victims nor from their families.
The investigation couldn’t be held in effective way because there is no cooperation, neither from the victim nor from his family members, most victims are chancing their Statement with every passing day, Even Statement of Family members and victims didn't match with each other Azad said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Azad said there is too much hue and cry everywhere, but we don’t get support to carry the investigation forward. Azad said there is only way to to take up investigation is that
People have to cooperate with Police in this matter, so that Culprits will nabed.
Pertinently police have also announced Rs 6 lakh reward for a person who would provide accurate information about a braid-chopper. (KNS)
