Srinagar, July 29 (KNS): Kashmir Society Chairman Khuwaja Farooq Renzushah has expressed deep anguish and shock on use of pellet guns which caused mass blinding and loss of precious lives.
He said it seems CRPF has not yet formally abandoned use of lethal weapons as per media reports inspite of its Universal condemnation & instructions by union Home Minister
In a statement issued to KNS, he said that Kashmir society immediately after occurrences of violence & arson in several parts of Kashmir with disastrous consequences of loss of precious lives of youth , children as well as women ,called on Governor J&K State and suggested that in democratic way J&K Assembly session should be convened to ponder over on six-point formula put forth by separatists so that with consensus decision the positive & negative votes can determine the mood of main stream who have mandate of decision.
“It is irony that maximum of points enshrined in 6 point formula are derivate of main stream parties Manifesto & votes were magnetized by all these main stream parties for their Law Makers through such slogans. Today hiding approach by these law makers is not apt answer to these 6 point formulas but in this challenging period it is their duty to utilize legal Benches of Legislative assembly to debate on each point publicly.”
“It will not only enhance prestige of such sessions during present crises but reduce the anger of general masses who are caught between political ego clashes because of ambiguous stands taken by political parties. Why to adopt confused & pseudo posturing tactics on such sensitive issues giving impression through one face all are acceptable & through other face all are unacceptable.”

Renzushah also said that humanitarian aid to Kashmir is need of an hour & all national & international agencies should be allowed to provide humanitarian aid to people of Kashmir in present crises particularly medical aid.
He said that peace is paramount for people of Kashmir & implored to those main stream politicians who have eye on Vote banks for desisting to add fuel to fire for power game by giving provocative statements.
“They should realize this current agitation will devour them first if they don’t make their positive or negative stand on 6 points clear before public & demand convening of Assembly session. Rather expressing confused statements on social media it is democratically appropriate to demand for Assembly one or two day’s special session on current situation & consideration of 6 points of separatists.
“Public wants to know their positive or negative stand on each issue rather than mocking by raising Tagluqi slogans which land you neither here or nor there.
“All democratic means should be adopted for making their stand clear .Those who reject 6 points should clearly speak out their stand & those who are in its favor should make their policy clear. The tragedy of Kashmir is nothing but double speaking which has always confused people since autocratic and tyrant rule of Maharaja.” (KNS)
