Srinagar, Apr 21 (KNS): Stating that Congress feels duty bound to address the issues of whatever nature in a just and fair manner, The J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) has described the formation of Policy and Planning group under the leadership of Former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, as a step in a right direction, which was very much need under the circumstances prevailed in the Valley.
The Formation of the Prestigious group is indicative of the Congress Party’s serious concern for the people of J&K, who are living in a deep alienation due to the wrong approach and mishandling of the situation in the valley on the part of both Centre and State Govt, as a result the situation in the valley is on boil.
The Party while welcoming the decision stated although Congress party has remained on the fore front to reach out to the people of Jammu and Kashmir for resolution of the issues and restoration of peace and normalcy, but this decision on the part of Congress high command was something, which was badly need under the prevailing circumstances, Congress Party is committed to address all genuine concerns of the people and it will continue to remain steadfast in it’s resolve to reach out to the people of Kashmir.
Pradesh Congress Committee in a statement expressed gratitude to Congress High Command for taking serious note of the continuous deteriorating situation in the valley as result the prestigious Policy and Planning group was formulated to take forward the peace initiative in the State

Congress Party has remained committed to address the issues both internal and external, but the opponents could not digest the positive and sincere efforts of the Congress party, as they remained committed to politics of opportunism and exploitation inorder to gain mileage, as a result, many important measures in the pipeline taken by UPA I and UPA II, from time to time, were thwarted inorder to create a confusion in the Country, but the time has changed, people have realized that it is the Congress party alone which stands guarantee to peace and stability in the Country and I it will remain committed in it’s resolve.
