Soon after the Gujarat High Court Verdict Senior Congress Leaders and workers assembled at Srinagar Party Office to convey solidarity to Rahul Gandhi while terming his disqualification a part of big conspiracy of BJP after failing to answer his (RGs’) questions in Parliament.

According to a statment issued to KNS, reads that the participants said that the verdict was on expected lines terming it a black day for the country. Senior Congress Leader Tariq Hameed Karra, Peerzada Mohd.Sayeed, Ghulam Nabi Monga, Mohd Anwar Bhat, Abdul Gani Khan IYC Gen Secretary Jagdev Jaga, Surinder Singh Channi AICC/PCC Members, Frontal Organizations, DCC Presidents of Kashmir province, Block Presidents, DDC/BDC/Councilors of the Party, Prominent Workers and others participated in the peaceful protest.

Talking to Media on this occasion, Senior Congress Leader Tariq Hameed Karra said the way country is being run it is expected that anything obnoxious can be done by the  present Govt anything unconstitutional and arbitrary, any anything which goes against the spirit of democracy and anything which is contrary to the very foundation of the constitution can be expected from the present dispensation though the verdict was on the expected lines that we are here to convey our solidarity to Rahul Gandhi, so  all our segments may it be youth, parent body and other frontal organizations that  we are here in solidarity with Rahul Gandhi, but the concern today is that our country has become so infamous internationally on different counts may it be the absence of democracy in the  country or the subjugation of democracy may it be the subjugation and altering the constitution  arbitrarily or may it be the excesses that have been committed on  the minorities in the country or may it be putting the people head to head or  one to one fight on religious grounds issues like Mandir Masjid Gurdwara Churches is being exploited, but the worry for the country is that despite all these things we had hope in the judicial system of the country today a different kind of norm is being set that this refusal of Rahul Gandhi’s right to have heard has put the country on different kind of note that if the judicial system of the country cannot deliver justice to the people then it is  very sad day for the country, Karra rued.

You can see the country in different States is confronting all  kinds of non-sensible issues today perpetrated by the present dispensation one  of them is Manipur,  it (Manipur) is burning because of mishandling of the Govt or because of certain rights being subjugated there is every apprehensions and very strong apprehensions  that entire country will  convert into Manipur today they are not able to control Manipur and tomorrow they will  not be able to control the entire country they (present dispensation) have to revisit their policies, the implementation of laws, their subjugation of the institutions which are being utilized against the interests of the country, Karra added an said today we are here to have solidarity with our leader Rahul Gandhi specially after BJY he has earned a lot of feel good factor in J&K especially Kashmir and despite of the bad weather scores of people  voluntarily came out in solidarity of Rahul Gandhi.
