Srinagar, Sep 30 (KNS): Describing Congress Party a strong and vibrant force in all the three regions, Congress leaders from District Srinagar in a day long convention of party workers of Amirakadal Constituency held at Chanapora Srinagar today, expressed confidence over the party’s role as a constructive opposition in the state and urged the party cadres to fight and defeat those forces aiming to weaken the party in the State.
The convention was presided over by District President Srinagar Abdul Gani Khan.
Congress Convention unanimously resolved to fight for resolution of issues confronting people due to misrule by Coalition Govt in the State. Urging party cadres to remain steadfast in serving the people, Congress Convention urged the party cadres to defeat those forces aiming to vitiate the atmosphere of peace and tranquility by raising unethical and anti social issues to benefit themselves politically.
Expressing full confidence under the dynamic leadership of PCC President G.A. Mir, the convention greeted PCC Chief for his dedication and hard work in rejuvenating the party at all levels and vowed to work hard for further strengthening the party.
