Srinagar August 22, (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) today reviewed the organizational affairs and activities in Bandipora District.
The Party also decided to reorganize the party at district and block levels in a due course of time.
According to statement issued to KNS reads, the J&K PCC President and Former Minister G.A. Mir while addressing the meeting of senior party leaders and workers reviewed the organizational affairs and activities of district Bandipora at Srinagar Party office and decided to reorganize the party at district and blocks levels.
Mir said that Congress Party will give full attention to District Bandipora, urging the cadres present in the meeting to launch a door to campaign to ensure that Party is strengthened further at grass roots level, he said.
G.A.Mir said that due to some recent political developments in the district, the Party workers and Leaders have not been able to involve themselves in political activities as was the case with entire J&K, but the time has come, when we all must rise to the occasion to make Congress party a vibrant situation in the Districts, for which, the Party needs to invigorate the cadres at all levels in the District, he said.
Mir also hailed the Party Cadres for remaining loyal to Congress Party despite the unfavourable situation and change in political scenario and hoped that they will continue to strengthen the Congress Party, he added
JKPCC Vice President & Former Legislator Haji Abdul Rashid Dar appealed the Party Cadres to remain steadfast to strengthen the Party, as that, people of Badipora have realized that it was the Congress party along which can fight for their rights.
General Secretary PCC Surinder Singh Channi, District President Bandipora Imtiyaz Parray, Shabnam Shafeeq, Bashrat Najar, Bashrat Buhroo and other leaders also addressed the meeting.
