Jammu, Mar 27 (KNS) : Congress MLA Irfan Hafiz Lone on Friday staged a protest outside the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly complex against the attack on Iran, targeting the Union government over its response to the situation.

Speaking to reporters outside the assembly, MLA Wagoora-Kreeri Irfan Hafiz Lone termed the attack on Iran the "murder of humanity" and criticized the Centre for its "silence" on the escalating tensions in the Middle East.

The Congress MLA further stated that the donations made by the people of Kashmir for Iran reflected the humanitarian values of the region. (KNS)
