Congress leader Tariq Karra accompanies Rahul Gandhi to Surat Court

Surat, April 3 (KNS): Senior Congress leaders from all over India accompanied Rahul Gandhi to Surat where former Congress president appeared in thecourt in connection with a defamation case. 


According to a statement, issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), Jammu and Kashmir was represented by senior leader and Member Steering Committee All India Congress Tariq Hamid Karra. 

The statement reads he was accompanied by BDC Chairman from Narvav Baramulla Mir Iqbal. 

Rahul Gandhi today appeared in Surat Court where he was granted bail and the next date for hearing was fixed on April 13 2023.

Tariq Hameed Kara who accompanied Rahul Gandhi to Surat Court termed his disqualification from Lok Sabha a planned move of Modi Govt, which has failed to respond to the questions raised by him on Adani issue in Lok Sabha, besides many other issues concerning the Nation.

Congress cadres and people across the country appreciate the fearless and uncompromising fight of Rahul Gandhi against the loot of public money by the Modi Adani nexus, Karra said.

He said the vendetta politics and intimidation of opposition by Modi Govt further strengthens Congress party's resolve to keep raising the voice of the people against blatant loot of nations' wealth. (KNS)
