Shopian April 13 (KNS) : Congress Leader Mushtaq Ahmad Khanday has greeted people on the beginning of holy month of Ramadhan, hoping the month of fasting will bring all the happiness and prosperity to people.

Khanday said the month of fasting is the month of guidance, leading the Muslim at the path of righteousness, besides providing an opportunity to purify the soul by observing the fast.

The holy month is also the best opportunity to seek forgiveness for sins from the Almighty, Khanday said.
