Srinagar, Jul 26 (KNS): Congress leader from Srinagar Imtiyaz Khan along with his workers protested today against the government, claiming that people are being asked for money for Adhaar enrolment.
Khan along with his workers protested at the office of
District Development Commissioner Srinagar and demanded to stop the system developed by some officials involved in preparing of Addhar cards.
He claimed that some officials are demanding money from public so that their Addhar cards will be prepared on priority "which is totally injustice".
He said it means that people who are not in position to pay, have no right to prepare his/her Addhar card and should have to face difficulties .Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Khan appealed the administration that if Addhar cards are mandatory for obtaining ration from food stores, why not addhar cards are to be prepared on speedy basin to issue to people so that they may not suffer regarding to obtaining ration from food stores.
Khan appealed the administration for immediate action.
"However ADC and concern Joint Commissioner SMC Srinagar assured for early action within a days," he said. (KNS)
