Chadura April 12 (KNS) : The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) today held a workers meeting at Somerbug in Chadura area of District Budgam and urged the Govt to address the developmental and other issues concerning people in Budgam district and elsewhere in Kashmir.

JKPCC Vice President and Ex. MLA Haji Abdul Rahid Dar, who presided over the workers meeting at Samerbug area of Chadura in Budgam District has expressed serious concern over the difficulties on account of rising unemployment, lack of development at grass roots level  and many other local issued confronting people,  which are not being addressed  and termed it as failure of the Govt.

Govt has failed on all fronts, PCC Vice President said and emphasized the Govt to ensure development works at grass roots level.

PCC Vice President also slammed the Govt for failing to curb rising unemployment, which is a dangerous proposition and has to dealt firmly.

Congress Party is doing principle-based politics and won’t be compromise on people aspirations, PCC Vice President added and  urged the Govt to fulfill its promise of development and employment, as that, the people of J&K have suffered tremendous hardships due to the ugliest situation.

The meeting was organized by Showkat Ahmad Malik and addressed by DCC Presidents  Abdul Gani Khan, Farooq Ahmad Bhat, I/C DCC President Pulwama Umer Jan, Mir Ruvais, Yasir Wani and Adv. Raja Ashraf.

On this occasion prominent political persons  Irshad Ahmad Wani, Rafeeq Ahmad, Suhail Ahmad and various Sarpanchs and panches joined Congress Party and expressed full faith under the programmes and policies of the Party.(KNS)
