Lays emphasizes over holding Assembly Elections

Srinagar Dec 5 (KNS) : Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee Sunday held a worker's convention in Bandipora and expressed serious concern over the rising unemployment,lack of development and multiple issues confronting people in absence of the popular Govt in J&K.

The convention vowed to highlight the mis-governance and wrong policies of the BJP Govt inorder to make it(BJP) accountable and answerable to people for failing them on all fronts.
Senior Congress Leader Mohd Anwar Bhat who presided over the convention laid emphasizes over highlighting the wrong policies of BJP Govt at Centre, terming it fully responsible for the economic losses, rising unemployment and lack of development in J&K since it (BJP) assumed power at Centre.
 
Senior Congress leader urged the Party workers to rise to the occasion to seek resolution of peoples’ issues at every appropriate forum, for the fact, they are dutybound to serve people given the Party policies and pro-people programmes, which is the core of Congress Party, he said.
Congress Party is watching every move of the BJP Govt towards J&K which are based on lies and deceit, it (BJP) has given only fake assurances while it has not even fulfilled a single promise, Bhat added and asked BJP to avoid becoming obstacle between democratic process and people of J&K and pave way for holding assembly election as that will only ensure proper representation of people.
 
Senior Congress Leader Mohd Ismail Ashna, Adv.Farooq Ahmad Sheikh, Bashir Ahmad Khan, Rafiq Bano, Basharat Hussain Buhroo, Haroon Habib, Muzffar Ahmad Bhat and various other party leaders addressed the convention and assured Mohd Anwar Bhat they will remain committed to the cause of strengtheing people and s highlight peoples’ issues for their resolution.(KNS)
