Srinagar Jan 06 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) on Monday staged protest demonstration against LIC and SBI investment into Adani Group of Industries.
JKPCC also asked Centre, state Govt to stop bulldozing houses of common people of Jammu and Kashmir, terming the exercise as anti-people and undemocratic.
Senior Congress Leader Mohd Anwar Bhat who led the Party workers protest against the SBI and LIC investment in Adani Groups lashed out at Centre Govt led by Narinder Modi for supporting fake investment, terming it a deliberate move to loot people’s hard-earned money.
Senior Congress Leader blamed Modi Govt for organized loot of people money and benefitting his corporate friends.
Congress Leaders and workers also protested against bulldozing of houses and commercials building in Jammu and Kashmir on the pretext of encroachment and demanded that the exercise which is based on deceit must be stopped
Congress Party shall continue to protest against fake investment and bulldozing of houses and cautioned both state and Centre Govt for inflicting damages to common people inorder to hide its failure on all fronts, Bhat added and said Modi Govt should step down for misleading people on so called and fake investment.
Those who were part of the protest included Haji Abdul Gani Khan, Mir Ruvais, Umer Jaan, Muzffar Ahmad, Zulfkar Qureshi, Javed Ahmad, Khursheed Pattoo and others. (KNS)
