Srinagar June 13,2022. The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee Monday staged strong protest against ED summon to Rahul Gandhi in Srinagar, terming it BJP’s political vendetta aiming to cover its anti-people policies and failures on all fronts.
Senior Congress Leaders, DCC Presidents, Prominent Party Leaders and Frontal organization led by Former Minister and senior Congress Leader Taj Mohi U Din staged protest against the ED summon to Sonia Gandhi & Rahul Gandhi in Srinagar and said political vendetta unleashed by the Govt won’t deter Congress Party to fight against anti people policies of Govt.
Former Legislators Bashir Ahmad Magrey,JKPCC General Secretaries Surinder Singh Channi, Shameema Iqbal, AICC Members Abid Kashmiri, Nissar Mundoo, Irfan Naqib, DCC Presidents Abdul Gani Khan, Imtiyaz Parray, Fayaz Ahmad Mir,Mushtaq Ahmad Khanday, Sahil Farooq, Umer Jaan (W.DCC President) Mir Ruvais, SMC Corporator Basharat Bin Qadir, Gulam Mohd Shiekh PYC Vice President Amir Rasool and dozens of prominent Party workers including Mahila Congress Leaders and block presidents participated in the protest and expressed solidarity with Sonia Gandhi & Rahul Gandhi.
Congress Leaders slammed Modi Govt for using agencies to suppress the genuine voices in the country and vowed to fight against such policies and political vendetta of BJP towards the opposition especially the Congress Party.
Speaking on the occasion Taj Mohi U Din said ED summon to Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi reflects the frustration of the BJP Govt, which has miserably failed on all fronts with the result it is now using the Agencies to stop Congress Party from raising voices against is anti-people and wrong polices.
It is very unfortunate that Modi Govt rather than addressing the inflation, rising unemployment and various other issues of public importance has unleashed policies of muzzling the voices aiming to hide its failure, but the Congress party under the leadership of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi is strong enough to face the challenges and defeat political vendetta unlashed by it (BJP Govt) against the Party.
We have fought and shall to continue to fight against BJPs attempts to conceal the truth, Taj Mohi U Din added.
Speaking on the occasion Ex.MLA Bashir Ahmad Magrey, JKPCC General Secretary Surinder Singh Channi hit out at BJP Govt at Centre for targeting Gandhi Family aiming to hide its failures, but the reality is BJP Govt stands exposed for its failures, wrong policies towards the people, who are feeling cheated by the Modi Govt,they rued.(KNS)
