Srinagar Dec 15 (KNS): JKPCC senior leaders, MLA Sopore and Vice President Haji Abdul Rashid Dar, and General Secretary Surinder Singh Channi in a joint statement expressed serious concern over the use of force on protestors demanding ration as they have been getting since decades.
In a statement to KNS, the leaders said that there are almost 2.5 lakh of people who are not registered with the CA&PD Department, what will happen to them and those who will be provided ration @ 5 Kgs each member of the family, they questioned.
The leaders accused the government of using force on protestors and said instead of redressing their grievances the people are subjected to tortures.
Accusing coalition Govt for ignoring Kashmir Valley after moving to Jammu, both the leaders have stated that people are suffering badly due to harsh winter and in absence of essential commodities, the irony is that the Minister’s of the Coalition Govt during their tour to Valley instead of reaching out to people for resolution of their problems remain indoors and enjoy luxurious life.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The leaders expressed surprise over the closure of Winter Secretariat where the people use to see the ministers for seeking resolution of the issues confronting them, but this is unfortunate and surprising that after 12 years the Winter Secretariat has been closed for the reasons known the State Government.
