Jammu, Feb 24 (KNS) ; JKPCC has strongly condemned the illegal arrest of IYC President Udey Bhanu Chib and termed it arbitrary, undemocratic and authoritarian.
In a strongly worded statement by JKPCC President Shri Tariq Hameed and all senior leaders have strongly condemned the arrest of IYC President Shri Udey Bhanu Chib, a son of soil and termed action as illegal and unjustified.
The right to hold a peaceful protest and expression of dissent over the decisions of the government is guaranteed under the constitution in a democratic system. The arrest and detention of national president over the peaceful protest by Youth Congress is totally undemocratic,authoritarian and unjustified,they said.
Party and all frontal wings will hold a strong peaceful demonstration tomorrow against the action of the centre government tomorrow at 2 pm at Shaheedi Chowk Jammu, it said.
