Congress asks Divisional administration to address genuine demands of Butchers

Srinagar Jan 8 (KNS):  Congress on Sunday urged the divisional administration (Kashmir) to come forward and listen to the genuine demands of Butchers in Kashmir for their immediate redressal.

A delegation of Butchers from Srinagar has approached Congress Party for its intervention into some issues between them and the administration. The delegation apprised that their shops were being sealed by the administration over some supply issues, which is not correct and sought end to the harassment.
The delegation also apprised that the butchers of Kashmir have already suffered enough economic losses, they should be heard and their grievances be addressed.

JKPCC has expressed serious concern over the issue and urged the administration to sit with the butcher’s association and sort out the matter “whatsoever” at right earnest and allow them to do their normal business and sustain their families.

The Administration should keep all things under consideration and talk to the butchers to settle down the issues, JKPCC added. (KNS)
