Srinagar, Jun 29 (KNS): The government will build Composite homes for orphan children and old aged person in Anantnag district as it has identified land for the purpose.
Talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS), Director General (DG) Social Welfare, Ruksana Gani said that the department has identified five Kanals of land at Nanil in Anantnag district for construction of Composite homes for orphan children and old aged persons.
“The homes which will be equipped with all the modern facilities for comfort and entertainment of such persons,” she said.

She said that officials have been asked to remain vigilant against corruption.
“The review meeting was about the working of the department in the district and the overall performance of the social welfare officers,” she said.
“We were getting complaints of corruption against some tehsil officers. I have directed the officials to remain vigilant and verify the complaints against the officers for proper action,” she added. (KNS)
